      Kristine Caroppoli

      Hometown: Lancaster County, Pennsylvania

Kristine was born and raised along the Susquehanna River. She grew up learning many outdoor activities that she continues to love doing to this day. Swimming, hiking, camping, fishing, gardening, and playing sports are some of the activities her family did together. Living along the water and surrounded by nature she aspired to capture the beauty through photography. She spent two years majoring in Fine Art at Penn State University before changing her major. She would earn a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Counseling. Kristine enjoys assisting individuals in achieving a well-balanced lifestyle. It was this passion for helping others where she began exploring the practice of Yoga.

In December 2010 her husband, dog and she moved to Hatteras Island. They spent over a decade vacationing on the Outer Banks and dreamed of living there one day. Her love of the Island with all its natural beauty and inspiration reawakened the photographer and yogi in her. When she is not out capturing the essence of Hatteras Island, you can find her running or practicing yoga. At the end of April she will receive her 200 hr. RYT certification. At the end of nearly every day you most likely will find her walking the beach with her husband.
